Superheroes
Tights or armor, you decide...
Whether it is the human decency of the alien Superman, or the sense of justice and honour that emboldens the mythos of Batman - superheroes have played a big part in many of our lives.
I can remember the first DC comic that I purchased with my own pocket money, Action Comics 400, shortly followed by a plethora of Hulk, Spiderman and eventually Batman. Each offered a slightly different take on what it was to have the responsibility and powers of a superheroe. Whether those powers were intellectual, physical or a combination of both, they still offered up an escapism that can't really be found in modern life.
Here you will find reviews of superheroe related books, DVD's, movies and comics as well as any other media that fits the bill.
